A tornado warning has been issued for northeastern Montgomery County and northern Robertson County until 1:15 p.m.

A tornado warning has been issued for northern Montgomery County and northeastern Stewart County until 12:15 p.m. and a severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for several Middle Tennessee counties.
Those counties are:
Dickson, Houston, Cheatham, Montgomery, Robertson, Stewart, Benton and Humphreys.
The thunderstorm warning is in effect until 12:45 p.m.

A tornado watch has been issued for Middle Tennessee, including Nashville, until 6 p.m.
The counties under the watch are:
Bedford; Benton; Cannon; Cheatham; Clay; Coffee; Cumberland; Davidson; De Kalb; Dickson; Fentress; Giles; Grundy; Hickman; Houston; Humphreys; Jackson; Lawrence; Lewis; Macon; Marshall; Maury; Montgomery; Overton; Perry; Pickett; Putnam; Robertson; Rutherford; Smith; Stewart; Sumner; Trousdale; Van Buren; Warren; Wayne; White; Williamson and Wilson.

NASHVILLE — A tornado watch has been issued for all of West Tennessee and the northwestern part of Middle Tennessee in advance of expected storms.
The National Weather Service issued the watch this morning, effective until 3 p.m. CDT, for 25 counties.
The National Weather Service has also issued a significant weather advisory with strong thunderstorms moving into Middle Tennessee for these counties:
Benton, Dickson, Giles, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Lawrence, Lewis, Maury, Montgomery, Perry, Stewart, Wayne and Williamson counties.
This advisory expires at 11:30 a.m. today.
Metros Office of Emergency Management has called for a partial activation of the Emergency Operations Center at noon today.
A severe weather system is expected to bring strong storms capable of producing damaging straight line winds, heavy rain, large hail and possibly isolated tornadoes.
