Masters 2011 Golf Tournament: 2011 Masters Live Coverage, Masters 2011 Golf Tournament Leaderboard Results, Masters 2011 Golf Tournament Schedule, Masters 2011 Tee Off Time and Masters 2011 Golf Tournament PGA Tour Live Stream at Augusta National Golf Clu - We are about to witness the Masters 2011 Golf Tournament 2011 that is already started recently and we are about to see live action from the best professional golf players line ups around the world.

Apparently, the 2011 Masters Tournament will be considered as the 75th Masters Tournament which are scheduled to run from April 7, 2011 to April 10, 2011 live at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. The Masters 2011 Golf Tournament will be considered as the first major championship tournament of the present season.

When wealth and fortune comes your way, giving back is crucial. Professional golf can be surprisingly full of bad behavior, from John Daly to Tiger Woods, but 19-year-old golf pro Ryo Ishikawa is taking philanthropy to heartwarming new extremes matched only by his prodigious golf tournament prowess. Masters 2011 contender Ishikawa recently pledged to donate his total earnings this year – plus an extra ¥100,000 for every birdie he scores – to Japan.

Meanwhile, the 2011 Masters projects to be one of the more wide-open contests in recent years; Tiger Woods’ continued progress through drastic swing changes has opened the door for the rest of the golf world to take aim, and connect, in the pursuit of taking down the past decade’s elite player.

Above all, Augusta National is among the most radiant, historic and mystical courses on earth. I’ve personally spent one day on the grounds, a practice round in 2003, where I vividly remember standing behind the 14th green in downpour, 100 percent sure it was the most spiritual course I had ever stood on.

The personal storylines of Augusta National and the grounds’ relationship with its champions runs beneath the surface, the most unique club of winners in the sport. The echoes of Augusta National are among the most powerful of any arena in sports…somewhat ironic given golf’s nature

Masters 2011 Golf Tournament Par 3 Course. Apparently, The Par 3 course at Augusta National isn’t your typical, run-of-the-mill short course. Instead, it’s a full blown mini-version of its big brother in the complex at Augusta, with the same sloping greens and hazards that plague the home of The Masters. And the Par 3 tournament, the traditional Wednesday event during Masters’ week, is serious business with a family-friendly twist.

But if history is any indication, the Par 3 Contest winner won’t be donning the green jacket on Sunday. Call it The Masters curse: No Par 3 winner has ever won The Masters in the same year. Louis Oosthuizen won it last year and while he didn’t win The Masters, he did bring home the Open Championship at St. Andrews.

Meanwhile, the Par 3 competition has been a tradition since 1960 and is a nice, friendly way to warm up for the four-day tournament. But since no preview is needed for this contest, which features the current participants, non-competing past champions and special guests.  Augusta National Golf Club’s Par 3 Course features nine holes. The course par is … 27! The course was designed in 1958, highlighted by Ike’s Pond and DeSoto Springs Pond. Art Wall and Gay Brewer hold the course record: 7-under.

It’s Wednesday of Masters week, which means it’s time for the Par 3 Contest at Augusta National Golf Course. The traditional Wednesday event is a relaxing time for current and past Masters competitors as they tee-off at Augusta’s superb Par 3 course. In what’s become a made-for-TV event, families gather at the course, with children typically playing the role of caddy for those involved.

There’s no formal participant list, so we’re left to our best guess. Tiger Woods almost never participates, instead choosing to continue practicing ahead of Thursday’s first round of The Masters. Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player were grouped together last year in one of the more entertaining trios. Many of the younger competitors, and Augusta newbies, also take part.

The Masters 2011 Golf Tournament Par 3 Contest gets started at 12:30 p.m. on the nine-hole, 1,060 yard course at Augusta National Golf Course. Coverage of the contest begins live at 3 p.m. on ESPN and ESPN3D. Just check out its official website for more information about the game schedule and for the latest updates.
